While russian troops are totally demoralised after their senseless invasion, Ukraine greets first 16,000 foreign volunteers who have already arrived ready to defend the country and support its military. The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced this in his statement.
«Ukraine receives weapons from our partners on a daily basis. From real friends. More and more powerful weapons every day. Ukraine is already meeting foreign volunteers who are going to our country. The first of sixteen thousand. They are going to defend freedom. Protect life. For us. To all. And it will be successful. I’m sure of that,» – he said.
We will remind that the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi addressed to all citizens of foreign states who are friends of Ukraine. Anyone who wants to join the defense of security in Europe and the world can come and stand side by side with Ukrainians against the invaders of the 21st century.

Ukrainian state media Ukrinform reports that foreigners who plan to join the war in Ukraine against the Russian occupier must take seven key steps.
First, if you want to join the fight against the Russian occupier, you need to contact the Embassy of Ukraine in your country (ask for a military diplomat or consul, contact information can be found on the Embassy’s website). You can apply in three ways: 1) come to the Embassy; 2) make a call; 3) write an e-mail.
Second, clarify what documents and clothing (equipment) you need or recommend.
Documents: internal document (ID or passport); passport; documents confirming military service (service in law enforcement agencies) and participation in hostilities; other documents on the instructions of the military diplomat and consul.
Third, arrive at the Embassy with documents for an interview with the Defense Attaché and Visa Regulation with the Consul.
Fourth, write an application for enlistment in the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for military service under a contract on a voluntary basis (Defense Attaché provides assistance).
Fifth, get instructions on how to stay in Ukraine, the availability of the necessary documents and equipment.
It is recommended, if available, to bring military clothing or its elements, equipment, helmet, body armor and more.
Sixth, arrive to Ukraine in a certain way.
Representatives of Ukrainian embassies, consulates (abroad) and the territorial territory of Ukraine provide assistance in the nomination process. Provide their contacts at the Embassy of Ukraine in your country.
Seventh, upon arrival in Ukraine at the gathering point to join the Foreign Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine (sign a contract) and communities with fighters from other countries and the Ukrainian warriors to go to war with the Russian occupiers.
