Lviv joined the initiative to collect disposable electronic cigarettes and batteries for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The initiative was started by students of Kyiv Polytechnic University, the press service of Lviv regional state administration reported.
Students found a way to give used devices a second life and benefit Ukrainian defenders at the front. On the basis of the educational institution, boys and girls turn electronic cigarettes into an element of the system of dropping cargo in drones, which is especially needed by the fighters of the Armed Forces today. With the help of this system, the drone can accurately and precisely deliver cargo, in particular, to destroy enemy targets.

Collection points have now been set up in Lviv as well. In particular, people can bring used e-cigarettes to the headquarters of medical and psychological assistance at the Main Railway Station.
In addition, young scientists have already produced about half a thousand such reset systems for drones and have an order from our military for the same number.
We would like to remind you that from July 11, the smoking of electronic cigarettes and tobacco heating systems (IQOS and glo) is prohibited in public places throughout Ukraine, on the same level as cigarettes, hookahs and e-cigarettes. In particular, this applies to public catering establishments, where there will no longer be areas or premises for smoking.
