In half a day, concerned Kyiv residents together with a public utility company cleared the territory of a residential complex in Solomyansky District, Kyiv, which was hit by falling missile debris, volunteer Yevhen Poremchuk said.
On June 24, falling missile debris crashed into a 24-story building of the Dynasty residential complex in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv. There was partial destruction of building structures on the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th floors of the building, with isolated fires on different floors.
After the tragedy in the high-rise building, the residents began to clean up the territory of the residential complex on their own, collecting and removing garbage. In addition, to prevent water from leaking into the damaged cars of their neighbors who were absent, the residents taped over the windows.
As a result of the missile debris falling, 5 people were killed and 11 were injured, with four of them being hospitalized. In total, rescuers evacuated 24 people from the building.
