Ukrainian technicians have created an online game to help Ukraine fight Russian aggression. The game is designed to bring each «move» of the player closer to make the Russian websites blocked. According to AIN.Capital, the legitimacy of the game was checked by cyber police.
This is an analogue of the famous game 2048 – a numerical puzzle that requires only basic knowledge of arithmetic. Thanks to the simple mechanics of the game, it’s an easy way to help combat Russian aggression and is available even to teenagers and anyone who does not have special skills.
How does it work?
One player can send about 20,000 requests per hour of play to block sites that serve the Russian army. The exact list of these sites is not disclosed for security reasons.
«Our main goal is sites that serve the Russian army. We do not want to tell the enemy about our specific goals, so we do not publish the list of sites. We are also working on tasks from the IT ARMY of Ukraine. We do not harm your browser, we just rely on a constant flow of automatic traffic to bring the target websites offline,» – say the authors of the game.
What do you need?
Use VPN if you play from Ukraine. For players from other countries, VPN is optional.
Open playforukraine.live and keep it open on your devices, it will overwhelm websites and create a huge load on their infrastructure.
The number of attacks is much higher when you use the desktop. The more moves – the lower the Russian army.
We will add that the game was created by a Lviv team of 17 people in 28 hours, now, according to them, it is the easiest way to help attack enemy sites.
