Lviv region launches a program to support enterprises that relocated due to the war. Sums and requirements

In the Lviv region, the Business Support Program will be launched during martial law, implemented as an auxiliary tool for economic initiatives implemented by the state. Namely, businesses that moved to the Lviv region or operated here are offered financial assistance. A total of 50 million hryvnias ($1.7 million) were already invested in it. This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.

In particular, 250 companies will receive financial assistance and this will create an additional 2.5 thousand jobs.

The program is designed for three main tasks:

  • Providing non-refundable financial assistance to industrial enterprises that have moved to Lviv region. Such a business can receive 100 thousand hryvnias ($3400). In addition, the company can receive another 100 thousand hryvnias if it creates at least 20 new jobs.
  • Providing voucher support to micro and small enterprises for marketing services or product certification. This task is more for exporters. It is planned to provide no more than 50 thousand hryvnias ($1700) for a marketing voucher, no more than 80 thousand hryvnias ($2700) for a voucher for certification.
  • Non-refundable financial assistance for the purchase of equipment in the light and food industries, for machine-building enterprises. A business can receive UAH 500,000 ($17 000) if it creates at least 5 jobs

To receive assistance, the company must be registered in the Lviv region and submit an application to the Department of Economic Policy of the Lviv Regional State Administration. One company can apply for one task.

We will remind, earlier reported that more than 30 enterprises decided to evacuate to the Lviv region. Most applications are from Kyiv and Kharkiv regions.
