The Russians launched another massive strike at Ukrainian energy infrastructure after a two-weeks pause.

Yesterday, December 5, the Russian Federation launched a massive missile attack on Ukrainian critical infrastructure. A total of 70 missiles were fired, Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

According to preliminary information, the launches of 38 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were carried out from eight missile-carrying aircraft of the strategic aviation from the Caspian Sea and Volgodonsk regions of the Rostov region. The enemy also struck with 22 "Kalibr" cruise missiles from Black Sea Fleet ships. In addition, long-range Tu-22m3 bombers with three Kh-22 cruise missiles attacked Ukraine from the Black Sea, as well as Su-35 fighters with six Kh-59 guided air missiles and one Kh-31P. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down more than of these 60 missiles (85%).

We will remind that on December 5, the spokesman of the Air Force of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat, said that the occupiers can use several waves of attacks to disperse missiles throughout the territory of Ukraine and somewhat confuse the actions of Ukrainian air defense.
