At the initiative of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office arrested the assets of a company owned by people close to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete structures, which supplied products both in Ukraine and abroad.
According to the SBU department in the Lviv region, the ultimate beneficiaries of the company are Russian businessmen involved in financing the so-called «L/DNR». One of them even belongs to the closest circle of the Russian president and is a sponsor of the election campaign of the «United Russia» party. In addition, he is building housing for the FSB and the Russian Armed Forces.

The security forces do not disclose the name of the company, but, according to a source of the media Ukrainska Pravda, it is the company «Aerok», which is subordinated to the Russian oligarch Andrei Molchanov. In particular, an enterprise with Russian roots has started building a plant for the production of autoclaved aerated concrete products with a capacity of 480,000 cubic metres per year in the Lviv region. In November last year, the first stone in its construction was laid in Stryi.
To avoid international sanctions and supply goods to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the company’s management rebranded the company. Nevertheless, it still was arrested. Thus, according to the court decision, assets worth over UAH 2 billion were seized:
- 100% of corporate rights in the form of authorized capital for over UAH 437 million;
- movable and immovable property of the enterprise with an estimated value of UAH 1.5 billion;

9 bank accounts with a total of over UAH 104 million.
This was done within the framework of criminal proceedings under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Part 2 of Art. 110-2 (financing of actions committed with the aim of forcible change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, change the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine) and Part 2 of Art. 191 (appropriation, misappropriation of property or taking it by abuse of office).
According to the court decision, the seized property is transferred to the management of the National Agency of Ukraine for Detection, Investigation and Asset Management (ARMA).
We will remind that in March of last year, it became known that a plant for 150 workplaces was planned to be built in Stryi, the Lviv region. The relevant memorandum of cooperation with AEROK CEO Dmytro Rudchenko was signed by Stryi Mayor Oleh Kanivets.
According to YouControl, AEROK LLC is registered in Obukhiv, Kyiv region. The company specializes in the manufacture of concrete products for construction. The ultimate beneficial owner here is the Russian company «LSR GROUP» with its registered office in St. Petersburg. The general director of the LSR GROUP is Russian billionaire Andrei Molchanov.
