In the Russian city of Belgorod, which is located near the border with Ukraine, there were explosions and a large fire at the oil depot. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the head of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, announced this on Friday morning, April 1.
«There was a fire at the oil depot in Belgorod. All emergency services left for the place. Measures are being taken to eliminate it,» – he wrote. Later, the governor of the region accused the Ukrainian military of an air strike. «The fire at the oil depot was the result of an air strike by two helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which entered the territory of Russia at low altitude. There are no victims. Everything is there to put out the fire. The Ministry of Emergencies is trying to localize the fire in the shortest possible time. The population is not threatened,» – he wrote. It is now known that two employees of the base were injured in the incident.
UKRAINE: During the day, Russian troops carried out heavy shelling of settlements in the Donbass, and continued to cover Kharkiv with fire. Fighting took place near Chernihiv.

Kyiv region
The night was relatively calm. Several times an air alarm sounded in the area. The enemy continued to partially withdraw its units from the north of Kyiv region.
The settlements of Makariv and Irpin are under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The infrastructure there has been destroyed by Putin’s troops, and the territory has been mined. There is an operation to clean up.

Chernihiv region
Fighting is taking place near the regional center. Yesterday, the Ukrainian military liberated several villages near Chernihiv (in the direction of Kyiv). The intensity of shelling of Chernihiv itself decreased during the day.

Donetsk region
There was no large-scale offensive by the enemy. Instead, enemy shelling was recorded along the entire line of contact. During the day, 7 civilians were killed (including one child) and 22 people were injured (including 4 children).
The strongest shelling and destruction took place in the settlements of Avdiivka, Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Vugledar. In the morning, the enemy tried to storm Marinka, and Ukrainian troops repulsed the attacks. In addition, shelling of the Novoluhansky area took place in the morning.
The city of Mariupol is still blocked by Russian invaders, but continues to resist the enemy. No humanitarian cargo has entered the city due to the blockade of Russian troops.
Luhansk region
there were heavy shelling of Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Lysychansk, Kreminna. 20 objects were damaged, including 9 apartment and 9 private houses, infrastructure objects. There are 32 settlements without gas supply (28 of them in full and 5 in part).
Two people died in the fire of Putin’s troops in Severodonetsk. In addition, residents of Lysychansk and Toshkivka were injured. Four people were rescued from the blaze.

Kharkiv region
The intensity of shelling in Kharkiv increased, in the evening the rocket hit the central part of the city. According to preliminary data, there are no victims. The shelling of residential areas of the city continues.

Fighting continues in the Kharkiv region in the Izium direction. People are being evacuated from the settlements of Izium district (2,500 people were evacuated yesterday).
Mykolaiv region
At night there were attacks of the Nikolaev area. In other parts of the region the night was relatively calm. Currently rescue and search works after rocket strike in Mykolayiv (on the building of the Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration) proceed.

Kherson region
Explosions and shots continue. Fighting took place near Mykolayiv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts during the day. Locals report destroyed infrastructure and houses. These areas are on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe.
