Ukrainian military carried out the first combat use of the domestic tactical ballistic missile FP-7. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who published the corresponding video.
"Ukrainian tactical ballistics. FP-7. First combat use. Thank you for the result. Next is production. Glory to Ukraine!", - the head of state commented on the footage.
The FP-7 tactical ballistic missile was developed by the Ukrainian company Fire Point. It is designed for operational engagement of targets at medium distances and is launched from a ground platform. As a reminder, the first tests of this armament took place in February of this year.
Technical characteristics of the FP-7 missile:
Strike range: up to 250 km;
Warhead weight: about 200 kg;
Maximum speed: up to 1500 m/s;
Flight altitude: up to 60 km;
Maximum flight duration: 250 seconds;
Circular error: about 14 meters.
