Karpaty Lviv beat Obolon Kyiv in the 21st round match of the Ukrainian Premier League. The match ended with a score of 4-0. This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 22nd minute — Bruninho struck from outside the penalty area, and after a deflection, the ball ended up in the net. At the end of the first half, the Lviv team intercepted the ball in the opponent's half and doubled their lead — Xeber Alkain scored.
In the second half, Karpaty continued to dominate. Bruninho scored a brace, finishing a cross from the flank, and the match was capped off by 20-year-old midfielder Artur Shakh, who struck accurately from outside the penalty area.

After the victory, Karpaty rose to 9th place in the standings and overtook Obolon, which now sits in tenth, trailing by two points.
