This Sunday, June 21, the icon of Saint John Paul II with his relics will be put on display for veneration at the Cathedral of St. George in Lviv. This is one of the events dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Pope's visit to Lviv.
At 11:00 AM, the Divine Liturgy will be held in the Cathedral, after which there will be a procession with the relics (2nd class) of Saint John Paul II and the lighting of a memorial candle by Metropolitan Igor of Lviv.
From June 22 to 28, a week of prayer will take place at St. George's Cathedral. Throughout each of these days, there will be access to the relics of Saint John Paul II and blessings with his personal pectoral cross.
At 7:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 6:00 PM, there will be Divine Liturgy and Moleben.
