In Lviv, the traditional sign of the McDonald's establishment has been replaced with a more delicate brass one. This was reported by Anton Kolomeytsev, chief architect of Lviv.
"It was a temporary sign, and it has been replaced with delicate brass letters. This is a significant departure from the international brand's standards. But there's another issue with this facility: the residents of the building are justifiably outraged by the large ventilation equipment that has appeared in their courtyard."

The architect noted that everything was done in accordance with current legislation, as the city and UNESCO approve projects at an early stage, and at that stage, according to him, it was indicated that the ventilation would remain within previous parameters.
"Then, a whole ventilation rocket grew in the working documentation. And you know what? According to the law, it was no longer approved by the city or UNESCO, but the documents went to the ministry. They received approval there, and then the state inspection issued a permit. Now the city is trying to find a way to minimize the equipment and where to move it."
Anton Kolomeytsev also noted that the Cabinet of Ministers recently allowed construction permits to be obtained not only from the city but also from the capital.
"There will always be someone who looks at the situation from a "safe distance" of several hundred kilometers. The authority is in Kyiv, but the responsibility is to the residents on the ground. A very convenient model, in my opinion, especially for those who won't have to face the people later."
We remind you that at the end of May, it was reported at an LMR session that the new McDonald's on Rynok Square will be checked for the legality of installing large ventilation pipes, which are now standing in the inner courtyard.
