President of Finland Alexander Stubb stated that NATO needs Ukraine as much as Ukraine needs the Alliance. He said this during a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Ankara, "European Truth" reports.European Truth"
According to Stubb, the issue of Ukraine's accession to NATO has reached a stage where it needs to be discussed.

He also noted that negotiations between Ukraine and NATO on deepening cooperation in the defense industries are evidence of readiness for closer integration.
Zelensky thanked his Finnish counterpart for his words about the '32 plus one' format and expressed hope that in the future it will become '33'.
He emphasized that Ukraine can strengthen the Alliance, particularly through its own developments in drone technology and combat experience, and earlier Zelensky stated that it is wrong from NATO's perspective to leave a country with such defense potential as Ukraine outside the Alliance.
