Yaroslava Mahuchikh won at the Ukrainian Athletics Championships in Lviv

World record holder and Olympic champion Yaroslava Mahuchikh became the winner of the Ukrainian Athletics Championships, which is underway in Lviv. This is reported by the Sports Office of the Lviv City Council.

It is noted that in the high jump sector, Mahuchikh confidently won "gold", clearing the bar at a height of 2.00 m.

It is added that Yaroslava secured the championship title with previous heights, but she continued to compete with the bar.

The athlete cleared 2.00 m on her third attempt, and then tried 2.04 m, but this time she did not succeed. Despite this, the Sports Office says that the Lviv audience warmly supported the champion and gave her a stormy ovation.

The silver medal with a result of 1.87 m was won by the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Paris, Iryna Herashchenko.

Liliya Klіntsova won bronze, clearing 1.79 m. With the same result, Iryna Bezsmertna finished the competition, but due to additional attempts, she lost third place to Klіntsova.
