Two veterans, members of a brotherhood of veterans, after demobilization and return to civilian life, created their own snail farm in the Kyiv region. This was reported by reported Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) Marina Khonda.

Development of veteran business and grant support

The farm was initially created as a joint venture for recovery, and later as a full-fledged business. Veteran Vitaliy Khlebnikov was one of the first to join this endeavor.

"The farm was built spontaneously, we started building it together. For feed, we use a cross between rapeseed and bok choy. For snails, it's the most delicious thing there can be.", - said Vitaliy Khlebnikov.

The entrepreneurs plan to fully use the received state grant funds to purchase specialized snail feed. According to the founders, this funding will significantly increase the production volumes of the delicacy product and mark a significant step forward in the development of their farm.

Idea creation and veteran motivation

Before the full-scale invasion, none of the men had any experience in farming. Despite this, while still in military service, the comrades agreed that after the war they would start a joint business and bring their shared dream to life.

The main motivation for the servicemen was mutual trust, tested at the front, the desire to develop independently, as well as the prospect of involving other veterans who needed adaptation after returning to civilian life.
