Ukraine and Russia have conducted a prisoner exchange. This is the 77th exchange of prisoners of war. 103 Ukrainian servicemen have returned to Ukraine. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Among those released are soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and the State Border Guard Service. They defended the country in Mariupol, and also carried out combat missions in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Dnipro, and Sumy directions.
All released military personnel will receive the necessary medical assistance, undergo a rehabilitation course, and will be able to restore their documents and receive initial financial aid.

We remind you that, according to the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the process of returning Ukrainian defenders is continuous. The previous stage of freeing prisoners took place on June 26, 2026, when 160 Ukrainian defenders were returned home. In total, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, within 77 exchanges, almost 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers and civilians have been freed from Russian captivity.
