Today, August 24, a special exchange stage took place, during which 10 soldiers who were considered missing in action returned to Ukraine. This was reported by reported President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The defenders - servicemen of the Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine - returned via Belarus. They defended the country in the Donetsk direction.
"All of them were considered missing in action. And it is very important that we managed to return them," - Zelenskyy wrote.
We remind you that on August 19, Ukraine and Russia conducted the 77th prisoner exchange. Among those released are soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and the State Border Guard Service. They defended the country in Mariupol, and also performed combat missions in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Dnipro, and Sumy directions.
