The Russian occupiers invaded the gas transmission system. Due to this, there is a threat to gas transportation in Ukraine and Europe, the press service of the Gas Transport System Operator reports.

The company notes that interference in the technological processes of the gas transmission system poses risks to the safety of continuous gas transportation to consumers in Ukraine and Europe, and could lead to a technological catastrophe in the region. The GTS operator demands that military and armed groups leave the territory of the compressor stations immediately and stop any attempts to influence the operation of the system.
The company informed law enforcement agencies, authorized state authorities, and PJSC «Gazprom» about the emergency situation and the threat.
It will be recalled that on February 24, Russian troops seized the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. The President’s Office considers this to be one of the most serious threats to Europe today, as the occupiers may be preparing provocations at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Either they use the damage caused to the objects during the attack and blame Ukraine for it, or they will damage the most dangerous objects.
