«In fact, even if you don’t think about missiles (and few people don’t think about missiles even under conditions of well-functioning air defense), life in Kyiv differs depending on the area of residence.

For example, the left bank is more protected from the sounds of war than the right bank. Except for Troieschyna and Lisne [neighbourhoods on the left bank of the Dniper].

If someone wants sound impressions, it is better to move closer to Pushcha-Vodytsya, Sviatoshynskyi district, Vynohradar, or to us on Obolon. The harder the fights, the more different sounds you learn. Today, I singled out 2 more new sounds, one with a whistle.

The same goes for infrastructural things. There are areas where there are more open pharmacies. It is important: open pharmacies, not pharmacies at all, because not everyone works.

There are areas where there are simply no open branches of Nova Poshta [post office], and I am insanely grateful to the people of Nova Poshta, because what you are doing now is a feat.

My area has always been full of natural markets, now for the first time, a small market opened named after the borscht set. They are also in the city, but there are no large markets.

However, cars come sometimes. When it all started, queues at a small number of open supermarkets lasted 2-3 hours, sometimes you could get a humanitarian loaf, humanitarian apples and toilet paper. Pharmacies often do not have all the necessary drugs, but this also varies.

I remember one time when «Silpo» had only oranges, avocados and guacamoles.

There are many people who have left their pets with other people or handed them over to pet stores. In some places, it looks like this. «And why is this food for my cats much more expensive? Are you kidding? I bought for another amount in February, I did not expect that» (obscene). Yes, our feed became more expensive and the choice became worse because there is no supply. And there is simply no cheaper food.

«And why are you feeding my parrots this expensive food?» Are you too lazy to rush to the «Bird» [zoo market in Kyiv] and buy wheat from the peasants? «.

Well, first of all, there is no «Bird». Secondly, its closeness in these conditions is not closeness. Third, the peasants. God. People of Kyiv region. Someone has enough of something [impudence, misunderstanding, indifference?] or not enough [brain?] to write such things. Please, look what has happened to the Kyiv region. What has happened to people, houses, cars. Living in Kyiv, I feel my guilt every day for what happened and is happening there.

«Why can’t you water my flowers in the Lisne? My neighbour P. has the keys. Is it difficult?»

Difficult. One of my friends really wanted to see Sofia [Saint Sophia Cathedral], on this day her stubbornness and love could be measured in 35,000 steps. It’s difficult, because moving around the city is not what you are used to. It turned out that we drove to the left bank for almost 4 hours by car. My mother had a nervous breakdown, so I don’t drive there anymore. I just had no idea it could happen. It happened.

«Banks are working near you, right? You need to look at meter reader and pay for communal services.» As for «meter reader» – read about moving around the city above. And as to the bank – well, e-banking also works, everyone, except people who do not have this option, can use it.

«Can you come in and see what is with my apartment? Are you gone? Did you look? Why aren’t you there yet? Is everything bad there? « Ahhh.

No, I haven’t arrived yet, because sometimes there are 14 air alarms a day. You don’t have time even to stand in line at the pharmacy and come back, because it’s starting. There are people who don’t pay much attention to air alarms, but I, for instance, pay attention.

The city lives. The city tries to provide many important needs for the military, for civilians. The capital is not as exhausted as Kharkiv, the capital is not as tormented as Chernihiv, the capital is not Mariupol… But there are some peculiarities here as well. Think about it, my dears.»
