The Museum of Science and Innovation in Lviv will open on Tuesday, April 5, at 12:00. Its exposition will consist of more than 70 interactive exhibits, that will include areas of physics, optics and mirrors, mathematics, sciences about human, great inventions, innovations, self-testing. Lviv Now will broadcast the opening of the space live on its resources on Facebook and YouTube channel.
To implement the project, the National University «Lviv Polytechnic» has allocated separate exhibition halls on the street Sichovykh Striltsiv, 7 with an area of 1980.0 square meters, as well as other premises for the formation of the Museum’s infrastructure. Its opening became possible after moving some of the exhibits of the first state Museum of Science from Kyiv (41 exhibits) and the private Museum of Interesting Science from Odesa (12 exhibits), as well as a collection of own exhibits Tech Startup School of Lviv Polytechnic (19 exhibits).

The Museum of Science and Innovation is an interactive space for children that will help unleash their potential. Its activities during the war will be focused on unleashing the thoughts of children and young people who came from areas where active hostilities are taking place. They will be able to spend their time attending nano-lectures, workshops and more.
It will provide an opportunity to implement ideas, develop projects, as well as offer places for experimentation and the impetus for the visitors to discover themselves. The Museum’s games and interactive exhibitions will focus on the promotion of technology, science and innovation. Visitors of all ages are also offered educational programs. The principle of the museum is «knowledge through experience». They can experiment with exhibits created specifically for this purpose.
We would like to add that experts from the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine provided consulting and information support to all those involved in the opening of such a museum in Lviv. Museums of Science have been working abroad for over 30 years and combine the best scientific and pedagogical experience and to cultivate new educational standards.
