Twice a day, the Lviv region was informed by alarm about the danger due to the launch of «Iskander» missiles from the territory of the Republic of Belarus, and once warned about the raid of Russian strategic aircraft from the Black Sea. Sirens also announced the threat of a missile attack. This was announced today, March 22, by the head of the Lviv Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.
In general, according to him, the Lviv region received the most alarm signals in a day since the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
«I thank the Armed Forces, which protect us on all fronts, and urge the people of Lviv to be very attentive to the alarms. If the siren sounds, then there is danger. Do not walk the streets, do not play with children in playgrounds – run to a shelter or the most sheltered place at home. Our army is doing everything possible and supreme, but it also depends on us,» – Maksym Kozytskyi urged.
It should be noted that earlier, air alarms in Lviv were announced due to the launch of missiles (March 2-3) that did not reach the Lviv region, as well as due to the enemy drone (February 25), which was neutralized, and the plane flying in the direction of Belarus (February 26).
