A charitable concert, presenting a symphonic poem by Ihor Zakus «Unbreakable», will take place on April 19 at 18:00 in the Lviv Philharmonic. The event aims to raise funds to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the poster, the stage will be attended by the quintet of famous Ukrainian musician, Ihor Zakus, and the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv National Philharmonic named after Myroslav Skoryk under the direction of conductor Volodymyr Syvokhip.
The online concert will be broadcast worldwide to maximize military fundraising. There is also an opportunity for those who want to buy a ticket and get to the event live, you can book a sit here. However, only 120 tickets are on sale, as the Philharmonic is now a large humanitarian hub, and all the premises, including the ground floor, are occupied by medicine for our defenders.
You can listen to Ihor Zakus’ music on Youtube.

It should be added that the program of the concert «Unbreakable» includes works by Igor Zakus, orchestrated for symphony orchestra and jazz quintet by the best Ukrainian orchestrators, as well as poems by Ukrainian poets written in the first month of the full-scale war between Ukraine and Russia.
It is also noted that in order to raise funds for the Armed Forces in March 2022, Lviv musician Serhii Fedorchuk and Kyiv resident Olha Chertkova created the Ukrainian Art Front. The first UMF project is the so-called «dechansonization» [getting rid of Russian «chanson»] – a series of street, club and online concerts in Lviv, which involved the best musicians in the country. Music sounds in different formats – classical, electronic, jazz, rock and blues.
As of April 12, 2022, 18 performances by Ukrainian musicians have been held, and another 13 are already planned.
