In 5 days of repelling Russian aggression, almost 80,000 of our compatriots returned to Ukraine, most of them men. According to the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytskyi, more than 26,000 men aged 18 to 60 came to the Lviv region alone.
«They are ready to join the defense and the Ukrainian army. The Lviv region also mobilized more than 12,000 people who went to the front,» – he said during a briefing today, March 2.
Border guards remind that all checkpoints on the western border work around the clock. Investigations and border passing operations are simplified as much as possible, the list of documents that you need to have with you when leaving the country is minimized. Border guards and customs officers of neighboring countries also made it as easy as possible to enter their territory.
It will be recalled that queues at the borders are also gradually declining. In particular, at the checkpoints in Rava-Ruska and Shehyni, 300 to 400 cars are currently being registered. At the same time, the State Border Guard Service does not allow men between the ages of 18 and 60 to leave Ukraine. Ten male residents have already been detained for an attempt to violate this rule with the help of a bribe, and were sent to military registration centres. Such restrictions will apply for the period of martial law in the country.
