Russia uses new missiles bypassing sanctions
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the day before that, according to preliminary findings, the high-rise building in the Darnytskyi district was hit by a Kh-101 missile. The fact that this weapon was manufactured in the second quarter of 2026 confirms that the Russian Federation continues to bypass international sanctions through established supply schemes for foreign components for its military-industrial complex.
Today, May 15, a day of mourning for the victims has been declared in Kyiv. In connection with the targeted strikes on the civilian population, Ukraine has initiated the convening of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
