The number of victims of the Russian strike on Kyiv on May 24 has increased: the body of another deceased person was found under the rubble.
To definitively confirm the identity of the deceased and for identification, specialists will conduct a DNA examination.

As a result of the massive Russian attack on Kyiv, which took place on the night of May 24, the number of dead increased to three people. During emergency rescue operations and debris removal in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, rescuers found body fragments of one more person. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

The found body fragments may belong to a resident of a semi-destroyed building, who was considered missing after the strike. To definitively confirm the identity of the deceased and for identification, specialists will conduct a DNA examination.

The official number of casualties from this enemy attack in the capital has risen to three people. Earlier, two deaths were reported as a result of the shelling. The total number of affected residents reached 87 people, including children, as well as patients in serious condition.

The Russian attack on the night of May 24 caused extensive destruction to residential buildings and infrastructure in Kyiv. Damage, fires, and falling debris were recorded in ten districts of the city at once. Numerous high-rise residential buildings, private houses, schools, shopping centers, and critical infrastructure facilities were hit.
