Ukrainian long-range drones successfully hit an oil refinery in the Moscow region of the Russian Federation. The facility is located approximately 500 kilometers from the state border of Ukraine. Information about the successful attack was officially confirmed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"This time, the Ukrainian long-range capability was felt in the Moscow region. An oil refinery 500 kilometers away was hit. Thank you to the warriors of the SBU, SBS, SSO, HUR, and missile forces for their effective work. Russia must be forced to end the war against our people. And Ukrainian long-range weapons are one of the important components of such compulsion," the head of state emphasized.
He also added that this strike is a just response to Russian shelling and the Kremlin's dragging out of the war.
The detailed consequences of the impact and the extent of the destruction at the enterprise are currently being clarified.

We remind you that Ukrainian Defense Forces are systematically striking Russian oil infrastructure, which supplies fuel to the occupying army. In particular, the "Togliattikauch" petrochemical enterprise in the Samara region and the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery recently came under drone attacks. In addition, large oil refineries in Ryazan, Volgograd, Syzran, as well as the marine oil terminal in Ust-Luga near St. Petersburg, have previously been successfully attacked. According to international analysts, these strikes have already disabled a significant portion of the Russian Federation's oil refining capacity.
