AFU hit key Russian airfield in Crimea, ammunition depots, and bridges
The General Staff reported strikes on an airfield in Crimea and Russian military logistics.

On the night of July 5, Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the "Gvardiyskoye" military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as two road bridges and three ammunition depots of Russian troops. This is reported by reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The strike on the "Gvardiyskoye" airfield was carried out as part of measures to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian army. The extent of the damage is currently being clarified.

"The Defense Forces will continue to systematically implement measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine!" is stated in the message.

The General Staff noted that the "Gvardiyskoye" airfield is one of the key military airfields of the Russian Federation on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula. It is used for basing operational-tactical and naval aircraft, providing combat missions, logistics, and technical maintenance of aviation equipment.

In addition, Defense Forces hit a road bridge over the Hruzkiy Yalachyk River near Guseľnykove and a road bridge over the Kalmius River in the Staromarivka area of Donetsk region. According to the General Staff, Russian troops used these structures for redeploying personnel, weapons, ammunition, and materiel.

Also, Ukrainian forces hit three enemy ammunition depots in the areas of Makiivka, Donetsk region, Dovzhansk, Luhansk region, and Preobrazhenka, Kherson region.
