Around 4:45 AM on July 30, the Russian Federation's troops carried out a missile attack on Lviv. Two residential buildings on Paton and Vyhovskyi streets suffered the most significant damage. This was reported reported by the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi.

He noted that rescuers continue to free people from under the rubble. In total, more than 20 residential buildings have been damaged, as well as a school and two kindergartens.

On Vyhovskyi street, there was a direct hit by a missile on a residential building. The warhead, which did not detonate, has been neutralized. Next are the operations for its safe removal.

Also, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, at 8:11 AM reportedthat the number of casualties as a result of the missile attack on Lviv has increased to 26. 15 people have been hospitalized. Among the victims are children, one of whom is in the hospital.

Earlier, he also noted that one rescuer was among those hospitalized.

And due to the blocked staircase, people from a damaged five-story building were evacuated using a crane.

We remind you that in Lviv, due to the closure of Paton Street caused by the consequences of the Russian shelling, public transport is temporarily running with changes.

According to the transport department, T. Patona Street and V. Vyhovskoho Street (from Shchyretska Street to the roundabout of Kulparkivska – Velykoho Volodymyra) are closed in both directions to eliminate the consequences of the night shelling.

Due to the closure of T. Patona Street:

  • bus routes No. 14, 21, 27, 48, 92 run along Horodotska Street and Vyhovskoho Street;
  • trolleybus routes No. 23 and No. 30 are temporarily not running.

Due to the closure of V. Vyhovskoho Street (from Shchyretska Street to the roundabout of Kulparkivska – Velykoho Volodymyra):

  • bus routes No. 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 27, 48, 51 run along Kulparkivska Street with passage through S. Petliury Street, K. Kurchytsia Street and then along their routes.

As of 9:10 AM, traffic on V. Vyhovskoho Street has been restored. Buses are running on their usual routes. Trolleybus No. 23 has partially resumed operation – running from the Bus Station to the roundabout of Kulparkivska - Velykoho Volodymyra. Trolleybus No. 30 is not running.

As of 8:40 AM, Maksym Kozytskyi reported that there are already 30 casualties as a result of the enemy attack on Lviv. The rescue operation is ongoing.

In addition, the press service of the Lviv City Council reported that as a result of another enemy missile attack, two educational institutions in Lviv were damaged - Lyceum No. 15 and Kindergarten No. 139. Lyceum No. 15 suffered the most damage. 140 windows and 4 doors were blown out there, and the roof covering was also damaged.

Andriy Zakyalyuk, head of the Department of Education and Culture of the Lviv City Council, reported that 21 windows were blown out and 2 doors were damaged at Kindergarten No. 139. Despite the damage, the institution continues to accept children: today, groups for children were organized and operated at the kindergarten.
