Andriy Sybiha was approved as Minister of Foreign Affairs
Previously, he had already headed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Today, August 19, at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a vote was held to appoint Andriy Sybiha to the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. This became known from the broadcast of the meeting on the "Suspilne" YouTube channel.

266 members of parliament voted for Sybiha's appointment. The decision was made, Andriy Sybiha took the oath as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He emphasized that the main priority of work with partners is the closure of the sky.

We remind you that Sybiha headed the MFA in Yulia Svyrydenko's government. Later, he served as acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted official proposals to the Verkhovna Rada for the appointment of Yevhenii Khmara as Minister of Defense of Ukraine and Andriy Sybiha as head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
