As a result of the Russian shelling of Mariupol, Donetsk region, a 6-year-old girl was fatally wounded and died in hospital on February 27. This was reported in the AP agency.
«In the port city of Mariupol, where Ukrainians are trying to stop the Russian offensive, an ambulance took a 6-year-old girl to the city hospital, who was mortally wounded during the Russian shelling,» the report said.
It is noted that a team of doctors fought for her life, and at that time her mother was standing near the ambulance. Also, the child’s father was injured.
It will be recalled that yesterday, February 27, an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group in Kyiv shot a family with three children, adults and their daughter Polina were killed. According to Ukrayinska Pravda, they all died. Another girl is in the intensive care unit of Kyiv hospital № 17, and a boy is in Okhmatdyt hospital.
Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, declared the day before that Russia is trying to change its tactics. Occupying troops are shelling residential neighbourhoods, hospitals, and educational institutions. As the rapid offensive with large columns failed, Russia started to use sabotage and reconnaissance groups and landing forces more actively. Residents of all cities are urged to report suspects.
