Another five thousand Starlink satellite internet stations from SpaceX have arrived in Ukraine. The Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this, adding that the new batch of terminals was financed by Poland.
«This will help Ukrainians to always be in touch, and enable the objects of critical infrastructure to work in the most difficult conditions,» – he wrote.
The minister also thanked Poland’s State Secretary for Digitalization Janusz Cieszynski for this step.

We will recall that on February 28, Ukraine first received Starlink satellite communication from Elon Musk’s company. In addition, Elon Musk plans to build a Starlink ground station in Ukraine after the war, so that the quality of satellite Internet in our cities becomes better.
It should also be noted that the Starlink project was created by Elon Musk’s company SpaceX. This is a satellite system, thanks to which you can get access to the Internet in hard-to-reach corners of the Earth. Starlink is independent of the traditional internet infrastructure, so it cannot be easily disconnected. It’s more resistant to cyberattacks, so Ukraine needs it in times of war.
Therefore, during the period of martial law, Starlink terminals can be used by all citizens of Ukraine, authorities and enterprises of all forms of ownership.
