As a reminder, in late March and April, Polish media began reporting on the possible construction of a highway, which would connect the Polish border with Lviv with the prospect of extending the route further into Ukraine. According to Gazeta Wyborcza, the signing of the agreement is planned by the end of June 2026 — on the eve of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk.
"Tvoe Misto" at the end of April contacted the Lviv Regional Military Administration and the Service for Restoration and Infrastructure Development in Lviv and Kyiv regions, but they reported having no information about it. We also requested details regarding this project from the Consulate General of Poland in Lviv, but they also have no information. On April 29, the editorial office sent an official request to the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development, but the request was redirected to the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.
