President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that on May 10, there were no massed enemy attacks, but on the front, the Russians are not observing the ceasefire; Ukraine is acting in a mirror-like manner. He said this in an address on Sunday evening, May 10.

"It is pleasing that as of now, today there have been no massed attacks – missile strikes, air strikes. But in front-line areas, in communities near the front, there was no peace. Russians continue their assault activity in those directions that are key for them.
There is shelling, there were drone strikes of various types on the front. Over yesterday and today, there have already been more than 150 assault actions, more than a hundred shellings, and nearly ten thousand more kamikaze drone strikes. That is, on the front, the Russian army is not observing the silence and is not even particularly trying."

The President added that Ukrainian units are acting in a mirror-like manner. He noted that on May 9 and 10, Ukraine refrained from long-range strikes against the RF in response to the absence of Russian massed attacks.

"If the Russians decide to return to full-scale war – our "sanctions" for this will be immediate and will be tangible. Distance already matters less and less – we have shown this with our long-range capability. Ukraine always behaves clearly and honestly in this regard."

As a reminder, Ukraine agreed to a regime of silence on May 9-11 and agreed on the exchange of prisoners of war. At the same time, on his social media, US President Donald Trump announced a three-day truce in the war between Russia and Ukraine starting from May 9.

Trump said that it was he who "asked for this step and it was agreed to by Putin and Zelenskyy." He also hopes that this will be the beginning of the end of the great war and that peace negotiations will continue.

Subsequently, on the website of the President of Ukraine, a decree appeared regarding the permission to hold a parade on May 9 in Moscow.
