Ukrainian drones are fundamentally changing the rules of the war game, systematically destroying the enemy's logistics and defense capabilities in the deep rear. In particular, on the night of May 17, Russia experienced one of the largest attacks of the entire war. Defense Express weapons expert and serviceman of the 413th BBS Regiment "Raid," Ivan Kyrychevskyi, says that the range and intensity of our strikes will never end.

Kyrychevskyi added that even in 2023, it was hard to imagine that the Defense Forces' drones (specifically, of the "Raid" regiment) would systematically hit targets in the Russian Federation, and that we would reach such a level of technology and planning. Back then, Ukraine was striking with modified Soviet "Strizh" UAVs from the Kharkiv plant or improvised means.
According to Ivan Kyrychevskyi, Ukraine is systematically destroying Russia's logistics and air defense with strikes hundreds of kilometers deep. These are so-called middle strikes, which operate at distances from 200 km, while deep strikes are over 1000 km.
He explained that with such strikes, the AFU hit targets outside the range of conventional FPV drones, in particular Russian air defense systems. Since the beginning of May alone, the Ukrainian military has destroyed several such systems, and in March, they hit over 10 SAM systems and nearly 20 radar stations.
