As of 12:00 PM on June 8, the largest queues for exiting Ukraine were recorded at Ukrainian-Polish border crossing points, while movement in other directions was mostly free or without traffic jams. This is reported by the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
According to data as of noon, traffic congestion is observed at individual crossing points on the border with Poland, particularly at "Shehyni", "Ustyluh", "Krakivets", and "Uhryniv".
The largest queue of passenger cars was recorded at "Shehyni" — 55 vehicles.
At the same time, no queues were recorded at a number of crossings, including "Rava-Ruska", "Hrushiv", "Smilnytsia", and "Nyzhankovychi".
"We recommend taking into account the possible unstable operation of electronic systems of control services at border crossing points when planning trips", - the statement reads.
Queues at the Slovak and Hungarian borders are local — from 10 to 24 cars at individual crossings. In Romania and Moldova, queues are absent at most border crossing points.
Some border crossing points operate with limited hours, including "Mali Selmentsi", "Dzvinkove", "Kosyno", and "Velyka Palad".
Pedestrian traffic is restricted or not operating at most directions.
