Poland received a request from Ukraine regarding the possible involvement of Ukrainian specialists in identifying the object that fell on the territory of the Lublin Voivodeship at night. Preliminary indications suggest it was a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile. This was reported by the prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin, Grzegorz Trusiewicz, as quoted by the Polish publication  Onet.

According to him, procedural actions are ongoing at the scene. About 100 employees from various services, including military and police, have been involved in clarifying the circumstances.

The Polish side is currently considering the Ukrainian request. Grzegorz Trusiewicz does not rule out the possibility of Ukrainian investigators assisting Polish services in identifying the object.

We remind you that on the night of July 30, during a massive Russian attack on Ukraine, Poland put its air defense forces on high alert, scrambled fighter jets, and deployed an airborne early warning and control aircraft. The reason was the intensive activity of Russian long-range aviation and the movement of missiles near the Polish border. 

Also, according to data from "Wirtualna Polska", the Polish government preliminarily believes that a Russian missile may have fallen in the vicinity of the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia.
