88% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine will be able to repel Russia’s attack. This figure is growing almost daily. Only 10% today do not have such confidence. Belief in victory prevails in all regions of the country. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the sociological group «Rating» on March 1.

90% of respondents, thinking about the situation in the country, feel hope. Only 5% are disappointed. Compared to pre-war times, the number of those who feel hope has tripled. The highest level of hope is observed in almost all regions.

Also, 98% of respondents support the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 93% support the activities of President Zelensky, 84% support the actions of local mayors.

80% of respondents said they were ready to defend the integrity of Ukraine with weapons in hand. Compared to pre-war times, this figure has increased significantly (in 2020 – 59%). The highest level of readiness is observed in the West and in the Centre, a slightly lower level of readiness – in the South and East. But even in the south-eastern regions, there is an extremely high level of readiness to fight for the Motherland (in the South – almost 80%, in the East – almost 60%). In terms of gender, 90% of men and 70% of women expressed their readiness to fight with arms for Ukraine.

Support for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and NATO is the highest in the history of the polls: 86% support Ukraine’s accession to the EU, 76% – for NATO membership.

We will add that polls were conducted among the population of Ukraine aged 18 and older in all regions (oblasts), except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas. The sample is representative by age, sex and type of settlement. Sample population: 1200 respondents. Survey method – telephone interviews using a computer.

It will be recalled that as of February 26-27, 2022, 70% of Ukrainians were convinced that our country would be able to repel the attack of the Russian occupiers, and 16% were not sure.
