Skating rink on the Rynok Square
The most famous skating rink in Lviv is located in the very «heart» of the city – near the Town Hall. With all anti-epidemic measures in place, the location will start operating this week and until March 10, 2022. The session lasts 60 minutes.
Where: Rynok Square (near the Town Hall);
When: daily, from 10:00 to 22:00;
How much: from Monday to Thursday 110 UAH – adult and 90 UAH – children; from Friday to Sunday the entrance for adults costs 150 UAH, for children – 110 UAH. The price includes skate rental. If you come to ride with your skates, the ticket price does not change.
Sports and Entertainment Centre «Medyk»
The largest skating rink in Lviv with a convenient location near the city center, in the sports and entertainment centre «Medyk«. Additional services on the rink include individual lessons with an instructor, sharpening skates.
The session lasts 60 minutes. The time starts counting down from the moment you rented skates, not from going out on the ice.
Where: st. Horbachevskoho, 24;
When: daily, from 11:00 to 22:00;
How much: from Monday to Thursday UAH 100 for adults and UAH 80 for children under 14; from Friday to Sunday an adult costs UAH 120, and a child costs UAH 100. The price includes skate rental. Prices for guests with their skates do not change.
King Cross Leopolis Mall
Lviv’s indoor skating rink is open all year round in the King Cross Leopolis shopping center. The session lasts 45 minutes.
Where: village of Sokilnyky, street Stryiska, 30;
When: daily, from 10:00 to 22:00 (start of the last session at 21:15). During the holidays, working hours may change, so it is better to clarify with the administration. The schedule of sessions and private lessons of the figure skating school can be found on the mall’s website;
How much: on weekdays UAH 120 for adults and UAH 100 for children; on weekends UAH 150 for adults and UAH 130 for children. Prices are based on the rent of skates.
Fortress of entertainment in the market «Pivdennyi»
«Skating rink on the Pivdennyi» is a small cozy ice arena in the south-west of the city, in the market «Pivdennyi« (South). The rink is cleaned regularly (3 times a day), and maintains a comfortable climate control of +15 degrees inside. You can learn to skate by pre-booking private lessons with an instructor (price – 250 UAH for 45 minutes). The duration of the session is 45 minutes.
Where: st. Shchyretska, 36, Pivdennyi;
When: weekdays from 11:00 to 22:00, weekends from 13:00 to 22:00;
How much: on weekdays – 120 UAH for adults and 100 UAH for children; from Friday to Sunday – 140 UAH and 120 UAH for adults and children, respectively. Entrance prices with their skates – 80 UAH any day for adults and children. Family and group rates also apply.
We will add that a Christmas fair will be open in Lviv from December 17 to January 20. Wooden houses have already begun to be erected on Svobody Avenue and Rynok Square. There will be 140 houses with street food and souvenirs in the city.
