Most Ukrainian teachers who are currently staying abroad, plan to return to Ukraine. This was reported by the State Service for the Quality of Education, referring to the results of a survey of pedagogical workers who are forced to stay abroad, in 29 countries of the world.

In particular, 87% of teachers said that they plan to return to Ukraine. At the same time, 14% of teachers want to return before the beginning of the academic year if studies resume at the school where they work. Other preconditions for return include: the end of hostilities, the security situation in the region and the country, and the desire to work in Ukraine.

At the same time, 11.4% of teachers have not yet made a decision to return to Ukraine. For the most part, teachers do not plan to return due to the unstable situation, lack of housing, worries about the health and psychological state of their own children, and a sharp decrease in wages.

1.6% of respondents said they do not plan to return to Ukraine due to lack of housing and family circumstances.

Among the respondents who plan to return to Ukraine, 97% indicated that they would continue their teaching activities, 2% were undecided, and 1% did not have such a desire.

We would like to remind you that education in Lviv schools will start on September 1 and will take place in a combined format: students of junior grades will study face-to-face, and students of senior grades will study in a mixed format.
