As of the morning of February 26, there has been significant traffic jams on state roads towards the border with Poland. In some areas, the length of traffic jams is up to 10 km. This was reported by the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine-Western Border.
The biggest queues are at such checkpoints as Yahodyn and Shehyni.
Queues in front of checkpoints with neighboring Poland are
- Yahodyn – 3500
- Rava-Ruska – 900
- Hrushiv – 700
- Ustyluh – 1800
- Uhryniv – 1150
- Smilnytsia – 1050
- Shehyni – 2230

Krakivets – 1400
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, border guards and customs officers help women with children to cross the border, at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint border guards of the Lviv detachment with customs officers help travelers reach Poland.
To ensure more comfortable conditions, additional buses were organized to transport women and children across the border.
There are also queues on the border with the Slovak Republic – M. Berezhny (150), Uzhhorod (320), Hungary – Tysa (215), Luzhanka (175) and Romania – Solotvyno (75), Porubne (1000).
It will be recalled that the State Border Guard Service does not let men aged 18 to 60 outside Ukraine. Such restrictions will apply for the period of martial law in the country.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi also signed a decree on general mobilization.
