– In Stryi, a city of nearly 60,000 an hour south of Lviv, a South Korean firm, Caris, proposes to build a $60 million factory producing highway guardrails from plastic waste.

– In the Chornobyl exclusion zone, north of Kyiv near Belarus, Dutch firm Bontrup has announced a plan to build a massive green energy project.

Motor Sich Airlines plans to construct two regional turboprop planes to add more domestic flights. The airline is owned by Motor Sich, which has been much in the news because Ukraine’s government has prevented China’s Skyrizon Aviation from its planned purchase of 41 percent of the storied Ukrainian aerospace and defense firm.

– The Zelensky administration hopes the government will make $450 million by privatizing assets, including a mining company, a titanium producer, ports, and a hotel.

– Ukrainian authorities have arrested six hackers accused of targeting four prominent U.S. universities.
