Since August 6, it’s possible to get vaccinated at the Danylo Halytsky International Airport in Lviv. Currently, vaccination is carried out for people who have plane tickets, i.e. those who arrive in Lviv and depart from here to other cities. This information was reported by the Lviv Regional Information and Analytical Center for Medical Statistics.

In the airport, Pfizer and CoronaVac vaccines are used for immunisation.

Prospectively, the vaccination centre will be available for all comers and work around the clock, with the need of prior registration, said the regional coordinator for Covid vaccination in the Lviv region Oleh Kohut.

Let us note, that according to an express study on the attitude of Lviv residents to Covid-19, conducted by the sociological center «Socioinform», 52% of people support coronavirus vaccination, 35% are against it, and 13% of Lviv residents find it difficult to answer. Among those aged 18-29, only 36% of Lviv residents support vaccination. 30-year-olds have a higher rate (52%), but the most positive about vaccination are those aged 50 and over – there are 73% of them.
