For the first time in 2020-2021, the share of foreign students in Lviv universities of III-IV accreditation levels passed the threshold of 2% among their attendees, counting 1958 people. These are results of the research conducted and published by the municipal establishment «City Institute».

Geographically, foreign students represent 65 countries. Most students come from India (39.5%), Egypt (11.4%), Poland (9.7%), Nigeria (5.3%), Lebanon (4.7%) and other countries.

Let us add that two educational centres are the most attractive for foreign students – these are Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University and National University «Lviv Polytechnic».
