State-owned digital service «DIIA» (Action) will soon start informing its users if any bank checks their credit history, specifying the purpose of such actions. This information was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, TSN channel reports.

«If anyone tries to take a loan in your name, you’ll receive a notification that the bank checks your credit history», – the Minister pointed out.

The function will appear in a few weeks and will be available to all users of the «DIIA» app.

Let us recall that the law which equates electronic passport in «DIIA» (both internal and international) to paper one and ID-Card came into force in Ukraine on August 23. E-passport in «DIIA» is available exclusively to the owners of ID-Cards and biometrical international passports. At the same time, such digital documents are unavailable to the owners of paper internal and international passports.
