Test Sirens Will Sound in Lviv 17 November
On Wednesday 17 November, there will be a training alert for the population of Lviv region with civil protection signals. Sirens will sound from 14:50 to 14:55. The training aims to check the level of readiness of the territorial automated system of centralized notification.

According to the press service of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the sound of electric sirens means the signal «Attention to all!» When you hear it, turn on the TV and radio receivers (TV channels First Western, UA: Lviv, FM-radio stations Radio PERSHE, UA: Ukrainian Radio Lviv) and listen to the message of civil defense.

Civil protection messages are transmitted within five minutes after the sound signal «Attention to all!»

Notifications to mobile phones of heads of structural subdivisions of the regional state administration and officials responsible for conducting notifications will be carried out centrally from the telephone number (032) 241-04-90.

The results of the inspection of the alert system will be sent for analysis in addition. Due to the fact that the purpose of activating technical means of notification is educational, practical measures will not be worked out. Residents are asked to remain calm.
