An alarm siren sounded this morning, February 26, at about 6:10 p.m. It was caused by the emergence of a plane flying in the direction of Belarus. This was announced during a briefing by the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.
«This morning in Lviv, a siren sounded because of the intersection of the Lviv region’s airspace. It was entered by a plane flying in the direction of Belarus,» Maksym Kozytskyi said.
Also this morning, a Ukrainian fighter jet conducted an emergency landing in Zolochiv, Lviv region. The pilot is alive.
It will be recalled that checkpoints are being set up in Lviv and suburbs – at the entrance and exit of the city. Currently, the situation in the Lviv region is under control.
