The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine clarified how to behave at checkpoints. They were deployed between oblasts (regions) and between settlements within them.

In particular, when passing the checkpoint, citizens need to: reduce the speed of the car, prepare documents for inspection in advance, turn off the headlights, turn on the emergency lights and lights in the car, do not conduct filming, do not get out of the car without military permission, clearly answer questions from the military, be ready on request to open the trunk and inspect the car interior. Also, citizens must continue to move through the checkpoint after inspection and permission, gradually gaining speed.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also advises people in the city, in the absence of a large number of cars and people on the streets, to continue to comply with traffic rules and behaviour in public places, and also to remain calm.

We will recall that after the attack of Russia, martial law was imposed in Ukraine. According to the presidential decree, it started from 5:30 on February 24, 2022 for a period of 30 days. This decision was made in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and on the basis of the proposal of the National Security and Defense Council and in accordance with Ukrainian law.
