For a whole week, Ukraine has been repelling the Russian occupiers. No one – neither in Russia nor in the West – believed that we would last a week.

The Ukrainian army has already destroyed thousands of occupiers and so much enemy equipment that the armies of several countries could be armed, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov announced.

«Our doctors, rescuers, utilities, railways, journalists, financiers are holding their front. The country has not stopped and is fighting. I would like to emphasize the heads of military and civil administrations and mayors who are at the forefront today. Chernihiv, Sumy, Konotop, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Kherson, Mykolayiv are the outposts of Europe. Our air aces have already become legends. Paratroopers, infantry, artillery – all prove that Ukrainians are the best,» – he said.

As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported, the total combat losses of the enemy from February 24 to March 3 are approximately 9,000 manpower.

Also among the losses:

  • tanks – 217 units,
  • armored combat vehicles – 900 units,
  • artillery systems – 90,
  • MLRS – 42,
  • air defense means – 11,
  • aircraft – 30 units (information to be specified),
  • helicopters – 31 units (information to be specified);
  • automotive technology – 374,
  • light speedboats – 2 units,
  • fuel tanks – 60,
  • UAV operational and tactical level – 3.

On March 2, Oleksii Reznikov called on the citizens to put up total resistance – the enemy’s communications must be destroyed.

«The Russian occupiers were afraid of a disgraceful defeat and began to commit crimes against humanity. They are shelling hospitals, killing women and children. This is no longer an army – these are ordinary cowards and terrorists. There are still many challenges ahead. There will be blood, tears, pain. But now, more than ever, we have every reason to be confident. And those who are nearby. We will definitely win! Glory to Ukraine,» – he added.
