Lviv has used 440 cultural and educational institutions and 85 religious organizations to provide shelter for the displaced. Today, the city is at the limit of its capabilities and needs the help of international organizations. This was announced on March 7 by Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi.

«Today, Lviv has become a refuge for 200,000 people who moved to Lviv, hiding from bombings and rocket attacks. To date, we have used 440 of our educational and cultural institutions to house these people. We also involved 85 religious organizations that provided their premises so that we could give people warmth and protection.

People who have settled in our country receive hot food, necessary things, and we fully arrange their lives. And this is an extremely heavy burden on the city of Lviv, and today we are at the limit of our capabilities,» – said Andriy Sadovy.

The mayor appeals to international organizations for help. According to him, Lviv needs large tents equipped with appropriate sanitation facilities so that food can be prepared there.
