Five people injured in the Lviv region after the missile strike on the evening of June 1

On the eveing of June 1, the Russians conducted a missile strike on transport infrastructure facilities in Stryi and Sambir districts of the Lviv region. The four cruise missiles were launched from the Black Sea, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, announced.

Among the injured are three people in the Stryi district and two in the Sambir district.

«Four people are in a state of moderate severity. They are in the hospitals of the region. One has minor injuries and has not been hospitalized. Fortunately, there are no casualties,» – Maksym Kozytskyi said.

As a result of the shelling, a number of trains will be delayed, railway company «Ukrzaliznytsia» reports.

In particular, these are the following trains:

№ 6 Ivano-Frankivsk-Zaporizhia;

№ 18 Lviv-Kharkiv;

№ 37 Uzhhorod-Odesa;

№ 13 Kyiv-Solotvyno;

№ 45 Uzhhorod-Kharkiv;

№ 96 Rakhiv-Kyiv;

№ 95 Kyiv-Rakhiv;

№ 1 Ivano-Frankivsk-Kharkiv;

№ 43 Ivano-Frankivsk-Kyiv;

№ 14 Solotvyno-Kyiv;

№ 38 Odesa-Uzhhorod;

№ 25 Rakhiv-Odesa;

№ 29 Kyiv-Uzhhorod.

Also today, June 2, routes of several suburban trains to the station Stryi will be limited during the day:

№ 6155 Lviv-Lavochne;

№ 6187 Lviv-Mukachevo;

№ 6189 Lviv-Lavochne Chop (in the opposite direction – to the station Lavochne).

In addition, № 829/830 Lviv-Uzhhorod-Lviv will not run on June 2.

The situation is completely under control, there is no danger for passengers and trains, the consequences of damage are eliminated. «Ukrzaliznytsia» and its partners organize free hot meals at large stations for train passengers with the longest delays.

Previously, according to Maksym Kozytskyi, explosions were heard in the region. In particular, it was about the Stryi district. The siren sounded in the Lviv region on June 1, from 9:23 p.m. to 11:21 p.m.
